Eligibility for the programs HARCATUS operates may be based on a variety of factors, such as income, age, evidence of need, and/or where you live. Each request for assistance is individually assessed and is totally confidential. Not all programs have the same guidelines and even these can change from year to year. We welcome your questions and comments.
HARCATUS programs are funded through a variety of state, federal and local grants. HARCATUS is further funded through private donations and local fund raising efforts. Thanks to these funding sources, HARCATUS is able to provide all of its services free of charge to eligible low-income households. If you would like to make a donation to any HARCATUS program, please feel free to send your donation to one of the addresses listed above.
