Head Start - Teacher Assistant
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for providing a nurturing learning environment for preschool children through high quality individual and group
activities under the supervision of the Teacher. Participates in the team process to implement the Head Start Program and compliance of the performance standards. Work to support Teacher toward common goals in the areas of Education, Health, Mental Health and Disabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must have at a minimum a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or a state-awarded certificate that meets or exceeds the requirements for a CDA credential, are enrolled in a program that will lead to an associate or baccalaureate degree or, are enrolled in a CDA credential program to be completed within two years of the time of hire.
Experience: Experience working with 3-5 year olds in a pre-school program or equivalent preferred.
WAGE: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt position and wages will be based upon education and experience.

Head Start - Mentor Coach
JOB SUMMARY: Under general direction, to provide coaching, training, and technical assistance to teaching staff (teachers, teacher assistants, home visitors, and program site assistants); to support and engage teaching staff through individual coaching sessions, training and small group discussions; to measure program quality by completing regular classroom/home visit observations using curriculum fidelity and quality interaction observation tools; and to do related work as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Minimum of a Baccalaureate degree in early childhood education or related field required.
Experience: Trained and have experience in CLASS (Classroom Assessment Scoring System) and/or HOVRS (Home Visit Rating Scale) observation preferred. At least five years of work experience in Early Childhood Education. Experience in mentor coaching, training, and/or supervising staff.

Head Start - Family Advocate
JOB SUMMARY: Support the children and families by advocating on their behalf to the Community and the Head Start Center. Assist Health Manager in monitoring and daily administration of Child Health Services and Family Health Education. Work in cooperation toward common goals with all other component areas (Education, Disabilities, Family Services, and Mental Health etc.) within the Head Start program. Weatherization - Tech 1
JOB SUMMARY: Position performs home weatherization and energy assistance services to eligible consumers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
● Must possess strong computer skills utilizing Microsoft programs (word, excel) and be able to quickly learn specialized program software.
● On the job training required including in-service and off-site training including overnight when necessary.
● Must demonstrate tolerance and respect for diversity in accordance with the Agency’s mission.
● Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
● Must maintain acceptable driving record and automobile insurance sufficient to meet Agency Liability Insurance Carrier requirements.

Head Start - Teacher Substitutes
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for planning, implementation, and management of the Head Start Center, including Site Administrator as required Job and Family Services Child Care Licensing Rules and Regulation. Supervises all center enrollees and adults. Participates in a team process to implement the Head Start Program and maintain compliance of the performance standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: A baccalaureate or advanced degree in early childhood education or a baccalaureate or advanced degree and coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education, with experience teaching preschool-age children preferred. An associate degree in early childhood education; or an associate degree in a related field and coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education, with experience teaching preschool-age children; or a baccalaureate degree and has been admitted into the Teach For America program, passed a rigorous early childhood content exam, such as the Praxis II, participated in a Teach For America summer training institute that includes teaching preschool children, and is receiving ongoing professional development and support from Teach For America's professional staff required.
Experience: Two years teaching preschool children and supervising staff in a pre-school program or equivalent preferred..
WAGE: Hourly wage negotiable and will be based upon education and experience.
